This page is a convenience listing of a few of the many local, regional, and national organizations working on the issues of public health, environment, and the climate criss and does not imply that any of them agree with our positions or writings, or that we endorse them.
Our "coalition" is a loose network of individuals and groups advocating on various aspects of clean energy, including public health, environment, and the climate crisis. We collaborate with specific organizations on positions and actions that we have agreed on. Articles that we publish represent only the views of the signed author, and of any organizations that have agreed to support those views and positions. Please submit any new listings or corrections to us.
For advocates, here is a resource created by Mary Jane Else. It is a "sentence bank" of short statements that are suitable for use in explaining your position on the Peabody peaker plant and other burning of fossil fuel, the climate crisis, the environment, and public health. You are welcome to use the material, modify it, or add to it.

HealthLink "HealthLink is a grassroots citizens' group dedicated to protecting public health by reducing toxins and pollutants from our environment through research, education and community action. HealthLink is a 501 (c) (3) organization."
Renew New England Alliance "Massachusetts Renews is a coalition of more than 40 grassroots organizations – including environmental justice organizers, youth, labor unions, racial justice groups, housing advocates, and frontline and Indigenous communities." SAFE-Salem Alliance for the Environment, An all-volunteer organization, SAFE addresses local environmental challenges in Salem, Massachusetts. Through its advocacy and activism, SAFE, founded in 2001, has played a key role in making Salem a leader in meeting the environmental challenges of the 21st century.
Sustainable Marblehead "The organization was created as a volunteer, community organization to educate and engage residents, businesses and town leaders to reduce carbon emissions and waste. Sustainable Marblehead is a registered 501c3 nonprofit, tax-exempt organization."
